POSITION OVERVIEW
Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years of sales experience and a proven track record of turning leads into lasting partnerships. You will be a key player in driving revenue by building relationships with clients and ensuring the delivery of innovative marketing solutions that resonate with diverse audiences. This role will be pivotal in the end-to-end sales cycle, responsible for both generating new business and expanding existing client relationships through meticulous follow-up and consistent engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities, turning them into long-term partnerships by leveraging influencer marketing, social media, and experiential strategies.
- Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed established sales targets by pitching and closing business opportunities that align with our client’s goals and audience needs.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with both clients and agencies. Ensure timely and consistent follow-up to foster strong presence, and trust, manage expectations, and maintain partner satisfaction.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with our creative, strategy, and influencer teams to deliver compelling solutions and drive revenue growth.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging and confident sales presentations that demonstrate how our campaigns help brands achieve their goals with multicultural audiences.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, cultural shifts, and the competitive landscape, particularly in the multicultural marketing space.
- Prospecting: Consistently identify and develop new leads, leveraging tools and industry knowledge to stay ahead of the competition.
REQUIREMENT & SKILLS
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven sales experience, ideally in media, influencer marketing, or branded content. Experience with experiential marketing is a plus.
- Multicultural Marketing Expertise: Understanding of multicultural audiences, with experience selling marketing solutions that engage diverse communities, especially US Hispanic and African American segments.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to close deals, meet targets, and drive business growth.
- Client/Agency Relationships: Existing relationships with clients and/or agencies are highly preferred, with the ability to develop and maintain new partnerships.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in delivering pitches to clients and decision-makers.
- Industry Tools: Familiarity with market research tools and prospecting techniques (e.g., Winmo, MediaRadar) is a plus.
- Self-Starter: Motivated, accountable, and highly organized, with a results-driven approach to sales.
- Cultural Awareness: A passion for multicultural marketing and an understanding of how to authentically engage with diverse communities.
- Strong English proficiency: The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and spoken, to build relationships with clients, present ideas confidently, and support business growth.
